I went with a less expensive version of the Leica M-Mount adapter because I don't need electrical contacts between camera and lens. What I didn't expect was the incredible quality of this piece. All metal and fits my Leica SL2 as good as the $400 version. Zero movement on the body. Lenses fit tight.

I am glad this item exists so I can use EF lenses on my Lumix S1. However, the fit is a little loose. If you pull focus by directly grab the lens' focus ring with your fingers, there is no issues but if you want to use a follow focus motor, that can cause an issue. I place small pieces of paper and it solves the problem but every time you want to go back using L mount lenses and go back to EF lenses, it will always be an extra step you have to take. If they can make an electrical version, too, it would be really great.

Adapter works the way it should I use it for my sigma fp and now all my ef lenses mount to it perfectly.

The item was sold by Urth and fufilled by Amazon. It arrived in an open box: Apparently a used item was sent with significant wear on the camera side mount. The item didn’t function at all on a Leica TL2 although I had asked the manufacturer before buying it and they had claimed it would.

Causes my panasonic s5 to stop recording. Very strange but it happened right in the middle of a wedding ceremony. Switched lens to a sigma adapter and continued recording with no issues. True it again with a different lens in a different event and the same thing happened

Il prodotto è pervenuto con la solita proverbiale tempestività Amazon e ben impacchettato. Simpatica la sua scatola/custodia. Risulta ben fatto e sembra robusto. E' in metallo quindi ritengo che durerà molto tempo. L'ho provato per utilizzare ottiche Leica M su una Panasonic Lumix s5 m2. Ovviamente le lenti funzionano solo in manuale e bisogna impostare in manuale anche il fuoco della macchina. Non ho avuto nessun problema di funzionamento e quindi ritengo che l'acquisto sia azzeccato. Una piccola annotazione: il costo mi sembra un pò elevato perché lo stesso adattatore per attacchi diversi costa molto meno.

I got an opened package, and my M-lens could not mount on the adapter. I have had to order the item again, a great hassle.
