Exactly what i expected. Books were shrink wrapped together and in perfect conditions. My daughter uses them for drawing in pencil mostly.

My 8 year old requested sketch books for Christmas, so she can create more drawings. She goes through a lot of sketch books and it can get expensive. I feel like this is a good deal with a lot of paper!

I purchased this for myself, I am a graphic designer who is constantly doodling on anything I can get my hands on.PROS: the paper is thick enough for ink pens, calligraphy dip pens (and even smooth enough paper fiber that your dip pens don't get hung up on) and the overall shape held up even after taking this notebook on my various working locations (school, work, coffee shops and book stores) the binding even held up, and I didn't lose one single paper while using the sketch pad. The overall price for this large sketch pad is a really great deal, especially compared to some of the same size sketch books that you would buy at most craft stores.CONS: the only thing after purchasing is it's pretty large (obviously they mention the demensions) but it doesn't fit into too many bags I own, making it something I have to carry in my hands between locations and loosing some of my loose scraps of paper I throw in there for my many projects.Overall, I would buy again to keep at my desk and not to bring along to multiple locations. I would however buy this brand again, but perhaps a smaller more travel friendly size.

Both my grandkids love to draw. Their mom is an artist, so they get their talent from her. I got these 2 sketch books because they used their old ones and needed more pages to draw on. We even bring them to restaurants to keep them busy while waiting for their food. The size is nice & big and the paper is thick enough that they don't rip them.
