So if you are looking for 300 year archival product that is made from hardwood and linen, this isn't the product for you. On the other hand, the size I purchased was 11x14: small enough to take w/me to do on site paintings but sturdy enough not to get damaged. I like the 11x14 size b/c it's not too small, not too big. I don't like the backs of these canvas boards, all manufacturers seem compelled to put their brand name on the back, I wish it was just blank but all over them do it and it's not too hard to cover over w/gesso. These are acid free, I have some from years back and they haven't broken, crumbled, color shifted etc. Sounless you are selling your paintings in a high end gallery for thousands of $$ a piece, I think this product would serve 99.99% of painters well. I have used these for oil paints, acrylic and even used it as a test for mixed media as well as watercolor (treated w/an absorbent ground). All worked fine, no warping. The gesso finish is smooth, no bumps or defects. For oil paint I do put one more layer of a ground through, but I do it on all pre-gesso'd products not just this one. I very much like the cost of these canvas panels, they allow you to play or explore and not be paranoid that you are ruining a $80-$150 canvas which has to be just perfect. Like I mentioned, I have used these for mixed media/collage. I haven't tried larger sizes, so not sure how the really large ones would hold up, but for 11x14 I have put layers of paint, medium, ink, collage and it's held up perfectly well. So I have zero major complaints about the product and will be buying some more as long as the price point doesn't go crazy!

I use canvas panels a lot, mostly purchasing from the local big box art supply stores. this panel is super sturdy. Way thicker than what I am used to, solid and well-made. I was planning to cut it down with a box cutter as I needed a custom size. I can see I will need to use a saw because it is so well-made. Great value for the money.

I have been painting for years. I usually use regular canvas but decided to try these canvas boards. I was surprised to find they are as good as regular canvas. They are easy to use and very economical. The only problem I found is that they may warp a little tiny bit. But this really isn't a problem because if you put them in a frame they flatten out and the warp is so small it shouldn't be a problem. I will definitely be buying more.

Use these for glitter iron on pictures made on a cricut. They work perfectly. An easel made with kraft board on a circut will support this panel.

I love these canvas panels for my acrylic art work. I normally use Arteza but I found that I prefer the texture of these canvases even more. I did apply one coat of gesso. I find that a layer of gesso helps the colors remain brighter. I also find that these canvases take an extra layer of paint on the background. Usually two layers on arteza but three layers for these canvases to yield a bright background. However, once you have your background the entire canvas is smoother and allows for better details. When painting 5 x 7 canvases texture of the cotton canvas can cause difficulties obtaining fine details. I loved these so much I am buying the 8 x 10 canvases next. I added both sizes to my auto ship. You cannot beat the price of these canvases. I do really like Linen canvases but they are six times the price of these and for the price just add extra stress when painting due to the cost of the panel. I will eventually try these in all sizes as I create. Will submit further photos and reviews. I have continued to order these canvas panels.

These are good canvases - EXCEPT there were a couple in the pack with a very slight bow in them, that was noticiable when trying to photograph my art. I managed to very gently bend them back a bit in the opposite direction to get rid of the bow.That’s my only concern - otherwise no other issues.
