I really like the mini chest of drawers! I read the reviews, so I was little bit concerned about its quality, Actually, everything worked out-no negatives from me!It is not a super high quality jewelry box, but that would be overkill in my arts and craft area anyway. It looks very nice just as it is and in the future, I could paint it or cover it with fabric or decoupage a design, but is perfect as it is for how I am using it.All the drawers fit and slide in and out nicely (I may put some wax on the riders to make them slide even better). The drawers come out all the way when I want them to, which is handy and then they go back in fine. I could make a stop later, as another reviewer suggested, if in the future I do not want them to slide out the whole way.I find the drawers are perfect for organizing my numerous regular sized artist paint brushes into types (as well as a few small tools): acrylic, water color, crafts, stencil brushes, etc. Also, I placed all my longer brushes in one drawer. With a few little tugs on each divider, I pulled out the dividers without breaking them and I can lightly sand the bottom of that drawer to get off the glue residue that remains (it is hardly noticeable). I plan to cut the dividers with an Xacto, glue together, and reattach with glue to position them the other direction, lengthwise, in that drawer. So far, I do not see the necessity of lining the bottom of the drawers, but it will keep the drawers clean over time. I may, perhaps, do that because I may want to use the chest for something else in the future, as it is versatile. Also, without being too heavy to move, I find the chest is strong enough to store my acrylic paint organizer on top. It is not going to break!Actually, I like it so much, I may buy another one to organize office supplies. I will keep an eye open for a sale.

I absolutely love this little cabinet. It holds all my pastel pencils and is such a pretty piece. It sets on the table right next to my easle. Very well made!

I have a lot of colored pencils that I use for my job. For a while I used a single Prismacolor Premium 24 pencil set but I needed some more colors & was tired of endlessly blending. I bought an off-brand 180 pencil set (complete overkill). While both sets have metal tins, it takes a lot of space to store them & getting to the right color(s) was a pain. This solved that problem & then some.All of my pencils fit perfectly in the drawer - along with all my graphite pencils, a crappy set of colored pencils I forgot I owned, & then some! The center of each drawer has a smaller section in the center. It's the perfect width for pencil sharpeners, blenders, erasers, etc. (see pics). I was initially a bit annoyed by that tiny center section until I realized how useful it is to have them overall.Given some of the reviews, I wasn't expecting much from this in terms of quality. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. Yes, as others have pointed out, I had one drawer that pulled the drawer beneath it open. Like others have pointed out, I just rearranged the drawers until I was able to open each drawer without affecting the others. It took about 5 minutes. That said, for the money, no one should have to do that.The unit is NOT unfinished wood. There is a finish coat on all the outside wood (drawer faces, handles, outer box). The base of the interior drawer looks like MDF so a finish coat isn't needed. The dividers looked to be unfinished but that's not a thing I personally care about & it would be a waste to put a finish coat on this in my view.The dividers are fixed into position using wood glue. For whose who may want to remove them, be warned that it won't be easy & it will be ugly. You'll need to get some flocking or very thin felt sheets to cover the base. I do a lot of wood working & I would suggest finding another product rather than spending $50 on something that doesn't meet your needs.At the top & bottom of the unit are 2 pieces of wood. Initially I assumed they were positioned so you could easily stack multiple units on top of each other without them sliding off each other when you open the drawers. Oddly that's not the case. The top & bottom wood tracks are in the exact same position, meaning additional units would balance on on top of very thin wood pieces. The bottom wood pieces should be positioned closer together which would allow for multiple units to stack nicely. While they wouldn't 'lock' into place, they would nest nicely allowing you to pull drawers open without having to hold the whole drawer unit in place. With it's current design, I can easily see that will be a problem if I buy another unit. Since it's a super easy 'fix' on the manufacturer's side, I don't see why they wouldn't have thought of it. It's a missed opportunity in my book.

I needed a drawer system to fit my Kuretake Clean Color pen/brushes as well as Posca and other pens, etc. This worked perfect. It's not terribly deep but it does hold the pens I have. I'm ordering another 4 drawer for other pens. I do wish they had removable dividers but I can deal with it.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the drawers work perfectly. After reading some of the previous negative reviews I was worried, but I haven't had any issues at all. My set of six drawers works fine and looks better than expected. My only issue is that a few of the dividers are not parallel, but at this price point I am not very concerned about that. I know they can be removed if I decide to do so. Each drawer holds 45 pencils if one layer, and there is enough room to add another layer of pencils, adding to each drawer's capacity. This is a great way to organize my various pencils and other art supplies.

The drawers have little to no wiggle room which makes them IMPOSSIBLE to open or close. It does not “glide†closed. The drawers go back and forth, getting stuck on each side, before I get so annoyed that I slam it shut. The outside is nice wood and looks nice, but that’s all. The inside is thin and splinters, you can’t remove any of the dividers, and the little handles are hard to grip as well. The drawers are extremely shallow and not much will fit.

Outside looks nice but inside workmanship looks cheap. Not smooth to open and close. Separators are very cheap. Not worth for money.

For the price I was expecting a little better quality. The separators a little warped and the drawers aren't all flush. It could be made a little better especially for the price.
