This box is not just for artists!! I needed a box to hold items related to my laptop ... flash drives, number pad, extension cords, etc. This box is a perfect size ... not too big not too small. The look and feel of this wood box is amazing!!

This is a great storage box for the value, it's well built and sturdy. Looks great and it has the perfect weight for this kind of product and usage.Only minor thing that could be improved, is that the internal tray/lid may need different handles to make sure when removed form the box with some weight on it, that it won't slip through your fingers, it has 2 cloth handles on the side, but ideally something you could actually put your fingers through would be better. but still this is a great storage box, functional and pretty.

Overall a nice little toolbox for the money, it's not perfect the fit & finish I'd probably rate about 85/100. Calling the handle leather is being generous, it looks to be 'reconstituted' leather scrap/dust with a heavy vinyl finish layer. For the money the fit and finish is very good if you are expecting perfection go look for something around 4x-5x the cost and still expect to be disappointed... that said it does have a thin/light lacquer clear finish over the outside if you plan to use as is or paint you should be fine. With a good steel wool scuffing it should take paint very well. If you plan on staining it a darker color may need to remove the hardware and sand throughly with extra attention to glue joints....

I have been looking for a wooden box to keep my firearms cleaning supplies in one place. This one fits the billIt's compact size is like that of the TARDIS: small on the outside, surprisingly large inside.And inside, in plastic boxes, I have a universal pistol cleaning kit, a complete set of solid brass cleaning jags, a complete set of nylon cleaning brushes, and a complete set of slotted brass cleaning jags.The box also holds a 3 pc. brass cleaning rod, a set of double ended "toothbrush" scrubbers, long wood cotton swabs, cloth patches, a 2 oz bottle of gun oil, and a 4 oz bottle of Hoppe's #9 cleaning solvent. Virtually everything I need to clean my rifles, shotguns, and handguns, all in one place.My wife saw the box, and she was so impressed, she wants one for art supplies.I will be buying more of these as gifts. The quality is that good.

I find this box to be the most useful and durable storage for my art supplies. My only issue is that the handle on top doesn't allow them to be stacked if needed, and it also means it will be put directly on the ground in plein air use. I placed little bumpers on the bottom: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LDSQLXW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . In case it is useful knowledge, two boxes with bumper feet fit perfectly inside the Lexington rolling art cart from Michaels that many artists seem to have. That was a very satisfying discovery.

This was a quality box I bought for all my DnD dice. It holds literally all my sets, note cards, and pens. Perfect to take to DnD sessions and have my dice protected. Love this box. Seriously.
