Fire box is wide but the depth is shallow so the 11 inches logs fit across the front of fire box. Door handle to the fire box is stiff and somehow awkward. All that said it work great and heats my tiny cabin adequately.

arrived with boogered up top because of poor shipping containment. straightened and repainted it. with how crappy the packing is, do any arrive unscathed? top firebrick baffle broken. Good service by US Stove for a quick replacement but zero directions on how these baffles should be repositioned.stove nice and heavy.yet to light but suspect small size handy to not overheat a small room.

Beautiful wood burning stove with the exception of the shipping damage.Called U.S. stove company for broken glass and missing log guard .It was apparent that no one at U.S. stove co. Will answer the phone as we tried for a copy of days. And gave up.Amazon made things right by covering the cost of the glass. We still need to find a log guard for this stove. We will no longer be buying any products in the future from this company.

After being super excited about getting my new wood-burning stove installed (which can be very complicated since no clear guidelines are available for needed parts and installation of the flue and chimney stack), I have come to find out that the small size of the stove is very limiting: 1) At best, I can fit two 8" length split wood pieces in at one time (don't want to say logs here), 2) the small size of the wood requires constant monitoring and continuous feeding of more wood before the hot embers go cold, 3) refueling requires almost a new relight with twigs as the base, then lighter, then add split wood pieces, 4) the bottom is limiting for ash storage and requires frequent dumping after no more than 4 days of burning, 5) can't load the fireplace with enough wood to last more than 2 hours at best so overnight heat is practically impossible, 6) with the blower, the heat barely circulates enough for a room size of 160SF so I totally undersized my 650SF cottage, 7) item came with broken baffle and had to call manufacturer for replacement which was kindly sent but without instructions on how to install, 8) the product was new so support didn't know how to do install it themselves...I ultimately figured it out by removing all of the baffles and started anew with reinstalling them. I would look for another wood burning stove if could do again.

So many people are reporting shipping damage (and I had some) that it becomes a product packing problem of the manufacturer, not just an Amazon or UPS issue. I'm keeping it - but - it has at least *three* areas where tumbling a 140lb steel object is problematic. The latch arm is bent in some with the wooden handle cracked (but fully functional...), the right side corner of the outer shell is bent (but fully functional...) and the top plate on the left corner is bent over (but fully functional...). I'm not going to return it... but... it ***clearly*** needs a 2" thick hard foam layer or an inner/outer case or something. I like the stove (haven't run it yet, I'm taking it to the cabin) but I can tell it is a good value for the price. But maybe if you can pick it up locally rather than having it shipped... ijs....

I've been looking for 5 years for a small wood stove with a viewing window. This one is perfect and the reburning of the gasses is an excellent feature. The stove held the coals all night into the morning.Amazon heavily damaged the first stove and slightly damaged the replacement as well as forgetting to furnish the blower....they said I'd have to send the entire stove back in order to get a blower.
