Thickness is 1.25, not 1.5.Also, no documentation on what the tapped screw holes for the bolt mechanisms are tapped for. Metric? SAE? They don’t appear to be 6-32 or M3.Unless you are buying this for the scrap metal value, look elsewhere.Obviously this vendor never reads these reviews!

If I could give this thing zero stars, I would. I was willing to overlook the outrageous price because the shipping time was fast, but when the box arrived I immediately noticed that it was definitely not 1-1/2. The label is correct, but the box itself is not. This is a junky 1-1/4 box labeled as 1-1/2. Absolutely ridiculous

Like others have mentioned, these are 1 1/4" thick. If you are weldeing these into 1 1/2" tube, this is an issue if you want a somewhat seamless gate lockbox.

Made me scramble and adapt. Ruined my profit. Measures 1 1/4 not 1 1/2. Doesn't work with knobs. Gotta make a spacer. Screw yall. False advertising of dimensions

Fine build. But not the correct dimensions. Which means additional fabrication. Waste of time.
