What I expected was an EPDM gasket that could be used for a hot water heater hose with 3/4" pipe. Most descriptions of 3/4" gaskets are for water hose applications which likely comprise a polymer unsuitable for hot use. What I received was a gasket with 1.05" i.d. and 2.6" o.d. The description for this article should be more specific. At least I now know what a "flange gasket" is. For those who do, ignore this review.
