What we love: This item really delivers on its promise of being an alarm: it is very sensitive (it has not failed our tests at least once!) and when the alarm goes off it. is. LOUD. The alarm is super easy to install and it includes everything you need to charge it. We appreciate that it is not made of plastic (or that it uses a plastic strap) as it uses aluminum alloy so we need not to worry about someone just breaking it or unstrapping it from our bike. What we like: We like that everything is charged via USB-C and that both items have a cover for the USB-C ports. They charge quickly and the charge lasts a long while. We like that you are able to lower the volume via the remote as there are other alarms out there that do not offer this feature. It is worth nothing that the built-in "light" is super duper dim so do not think you will be able to use it as a flashlight, but it is just bright-enough to see something within three feet away.We did not deduct any stars from this item as the other alarm with tail light that people have been comparing it up against is a tad larger than this one. This item never claimed to be both an alarm and a tail light, so we find that comparing it with the other item is rather unfair. Besides, some of us already have a tail light and all we need is an alarm —as was our case. At full price this alarm may not seem like a good deal when compared to the other item, but at its current discount, it is a no brainer. So who is this alarm for? If you already own a tail light and simply wish to add an alarm to your bike this item is worth looking into, especially when discounted.

I mounted this on a premium motorized scooter. I make 2 car payments a month and with teens, I find myself never able to use either car. So I picked up my scooter to get around town to the gym, back and forth to the train to commute into work, running errands, etc. I lock up my scooter but when I saw this alarm, I thought it might be a good idea to install it. When I go to the gym or the grocery store, I lock up the scooter but it's right there for everyone to step on and goof around with while I'm shopping or working out. I haven't had any problems yet but this is just another deterrent that is easy to install.Everything works as expected, both the remote and alarm. The remote is self explanatory: On and Off. The alarm is pretty loud. Not loud enough where I can hear it if I'm in the back of the grocery store at the pharmacy but I can definitely hear it at the check out lane.In short: I recommend this. It's simple and effective.

I like that it is set up so it would be challenging to hit it accidentally. I had one that I accidentally activated, and then it screamed so loud that it was hard to focus on how to turn it off (since making it hard to turn off is the point). That said, thieves know what to look out for, so I would trust it with a relatively inexpensive bike, but if yours is worth a lot more, if they have bold cutters, they will figure out how to turn this off. I would hide a tracking device as well. It is big enough that I doubt you can hide it.

I got this anti-theif alarm for my husband’s ebike. It is his second e-bike because the first one was stolen from the back of his truck. When he carried this new ebike on the back of the truck, he used more locks on it. Parked at the same place for a meeting, someone was still able to steal the battery. That’s when I decided to get him this loud, vibration-activated alarm. This one is waterproof, so it is OK on the ebike on the back of the truck, and it has 5 levels of Volume. Whatever level he has it set on, it is ear-piercing. I can’t say I’ve ever heard a noise louder. It is smaller than traditional alarms so it’s easier to conceal. The wireless remote control has an operating range of up to 82 feet and will provide a one-click lock and change the volume levels. This can work on more vehicles than just bikes. Cars, motorcycles or anything you don't want to get stolen. One negative is that it is easy to set off accidentally with the remote in a pocket or purse. It must be charged, so that is a consideration. Most importantly, You have to remember to turn it on.

You roll up to coffee, hop off, turn around and boop the alarm on your e-bike with the included remote. You hear the crowd whispering "OMG who is this radical person with a sweet alarm on their E-bike".Some of them ask for your autograph but you ignore them as usual.Delusions aside, this alarm system is exactly what I wanted. It's sensitive and goes off like you'd expect if moved at all after you arm it.It's ridiculously loud on the loudest setting and can be heard inside a grocery store from anywhere close by you have it outside. Coupled with a thick chain or lockbar, if you're within a city block of the thing it's a pretty excellent theft deterrent ability stack if you can just run out and be like "hey stop stealing my bike".Considering I can actually do that at most of the places I ride to, this works very nicely for me.I screwed in into the frame in an empty screw slot I had so it's mounted in a way that's difficult to remove or tamper with. The plastic and housing is strong and robust on the alarm unit.Coolest thing is the battery in the remote and alarm each lasts months on a single charge.I've had to charge the alarm once so far since I've been using it almost everyday for a couple months.Nothing to complain about, an easy 5 stars and recommendation.
