I bought this to see if I could do data transfer from my iphone 13 and fast charge at the same time and it was successful! My USB analyzer showed the phone negotiated USB PD to get 9v/1a which was enough to not drain the battery while streaming video data with the OBS Camera app. My alternative powered USB hub was able to deliver more power but this is enough for my needs. The topology of the card is bit weird, the USB-C Port connected closer to PCI-E slot direct connects to the FL1000 chip but the other one goes through an onboard hub. I wish the 4 port version advertised support for USB PD I could avoided a USB hub chip that adds latency on some ports since I didn't need all 5 ports.

I had to get an expansion card for my computer because it only had one usb type c port and more and more devices are now requiring usb type c connections. I didn’t want to constantly swap out the plugs because some of my devices have the cable permanently attached to the device. I also figured it’s better to get more ports since not all cables are made the same and not all devices are compatible with the different cables. Initially, I had an issue with the ports not detecting devices. I was able to get a replacement card from the seller and it’s working well now.

I installed it, got the most recent drivers from Intel and it's working like a champ. No special configuration, no external controller programs, it just expands my USB choices and it DOES self power and fast charge for anyone with capable devices. I now have 2 new USB-C ports and 3 USB A high speed ports. If you're looking, pull the trigger. You won't regret it and you can thank me later.

I used this to add to a motherboard that didn't have USB-C, or enough USB-A ports. Doesn't get in the way and doesn't draw too much power!

It works! At least, in Linux, it does. Passes through USB C and USB A just fine, which was the desired goal when I needed to use the Asrock Rack X470D4U as a desktop for a little while. It does not have enough USB ports. To be fair, it is a server, so this card came in handy and allowed me to gain a few more precious needed USB ports so I could run additional items. USB C seems to work quite well. Unfortunately, my phone didn't seem to like the card, but that's alright.Keyboards with USB C works with this, too.

For me I have a computer that I use multiple USB devices. This allowed me to do it that I didn't have to have a hub attached to the computer. Simple and yet effective. Throw it in, but up and windows automatically added. Was up and running with in minutes.

This is a review of USB PCIe Card 25W Power Supply 5 Ports USB 3.0 Expansion Card (3 USB A and 2 USB Type-C Ports) PCIe USB 3.0 Fast Charging Card Expansion Card.I have so many extrernal drives along with way way too many thumbdrives; or they say. Problem was and is that I do not have enough ports. This card gave me 5 more. I still have a few PCI slots so I can still add more. This is a decent card. I have every port filled and have on a few occasions been transferring from all 5. During that peak demand, I did not see any slowdown and transferred at a good speed. I have definitely spiked it as best one computer geek can and didn’t see any issue with it.The card came with everything I needed to get it up and running on my Windows 10 and it easily went on to work when I was forced to upgrade to 11. It is a good card and great for expanding your need of additional USB 3 slots as well as the two USB-C ports as well.
