I have used this pillow for 1 week and so far I am VERY satisfied with it. The pillowcase is of high quality fabric, soft and well made, and the zipper is designed to go into a small â€cover†that prevents accidental unzipping and spilling of the buckwheat hulls. The weight is good and I removed about 4 cups of the hulls to adjust to my desired denseness. There was no unpleasant odor as I had read about. At this time I highly recommend this pillow.

I bought the original buckwheat pillow about 20 years ago and still have it. Decided it was time for a new one. I’m a side sleeper and couldn’t be happier with the head and neck support it gives me. The pillow is a bit heavy but that’s why you get the superior support. Stays cool all night. This pillow belongs on the Mount Rushmore of pillows. If your on the fence about getting one, just do it, you won’t regret it.

I really enjoy the buckwheat pillow for the great support and airflow for temperature control.However, I'm still having trouble with finding where to get more Buckwheat Hulls for adjustment/s of the Fill amount, as the Hulls tend to settle somewhat over time. IME

This pillow is almost like my old sobakawa pillow I had years ago. It is very comfy and helps me sleep well. It should be noted that it is a bit noisy and it's something you can learn to get used to. I Love It.

I used a cervical pillow for a number of years to help with neck pain, but I increasingly found myself waking up with my head at odd angles and a very sore neck. I read quite a few pillow reviews and had never heard of a buckwheat pillow, but I thought it was worth a shot. I’m happy to say I’m very pleased with it. I bought the smallest size because it was on sale and although it doesn’t fill my king sized pillow case, the size has been enough for me. The texture of the pillow takes a little getting used to because it is not cushiony and feels somewhat like a beanbag. It has some weight to it and is very different from every other pillow I’ve used, so I wasn’t sure how I was going to respond to it. Initially, it smelled like buckwheat, which I actually found quite pleasant, but two months in, the smell is gone. While the pillow is not soft, it is extremely moldable and supportive and it has helped my neck pain a lot. I tend to fall asleep on my side and usually end up on my back unconsciously, but regardless of my sleeping position, I’ve yet to end up with neck pain from it. My only complaints are that it’s too heavy for air travel, which is a bummer because it has really helped me. It’s also not ideal for sitting up in bed due to the weight and movability of the buckwheat, but I ended up ordering a reading pillow for that and just use this for when I’m lying down. Overall, I am very happy with it and would recommend it, especially to those who have neck pain that other pillows haven’t helped.

We purchased this for my four year old son. This pillow is fantastic for firm support and customizable comfort! The organic buckwheat hulls allow easy adjustments to suit my needs, and the quality is excellent. It’s perfect for relieving neck and shoulder tension. after 1 week we still love the pillow and nicely and feels as of day one - product support left a letter in the package offering more hull if needed but it is just fine and cozy!

Love the concept, but was skimped out on the filling. Barely enough for a small throw pillow, let alone a full size pillow
