This is the only mesh or clear backpack I was able to find that actually had multiple large pock zippers. It is actually designed to hold a small laptop as well as the necessary folders and binders required by a high school or college student. Since the school year is nearly over and this is purchased for the new school district requirements for next year, I can't speak to the strength of the backpack yet, though I hope to update this review late this year.The addition of a rain cover is VERY helpful since the mesh backpacks I've seen are stronger than the plastic ones in supporting the weight of books, laptops, and notebooks, but when it rains, I worry the laptop may get damaged. This has an easy to pull out cover to protect all the bag's contents.

My school district requires mesh or clear backpacks because we live in Florida. The rain always had me getting clear backpacks but I kept having to replace those because they ripped, this backpack is very easy to use the cover on the back, however I had some issues with folding it back into its space when I am done. I also carry many things and the space that this bag provides is unmatched.
