Product fits well and matches contour of receiver. Appears to me made of 6000 series aluminum and is finished nicely. Very happy with the purchase and excellent value for the price. Includes two different length screws.

Looks and feels high quality. I drilled and tapped rem 870 reciever to accept it, and mounted a low profile red dot sight. So far 100 shells later its working great. Will update of any issues, but it would surprise me if any came up, its solid.

My 870 came drilled and tapped picatinny rail and this on fit perfect with the right screws.

This is a well built rail with pretty decent anodizing that matches Remington's matte black finish, there were no blemishes and the holes lined up with my pre-tapped receiver. However, I had to knock off one star due to a slight gap between the edges of the rail and the receiver that's visible when looking down the barrel (needs more contouring) and what another reviewer had mention about the included screws. It comes with five of them, three long and two short. The three holes in the receiver closest to the barrel require the shorter screws or the bolt will lock up. I tried every different combination to no avail and in the end had to cut and file one down to match the length of other two shorter ones. Not a deal breaker but not something I feel as though I should have to do if the product is listed as fitting both the 870 & 1100. The included picture is the rail on a Remington 1100 Tac-2 with a Primary Arms micro red dot.

This is a quality rail. I installed it on my new Remington 870 Supermag. It was very easy to install. It only took me about 10 minutes. It came with several different sized screws, so make sure you install them in the correct holes. Some are shorter than others for a reason. My son installed one from the same company on his Mossberg Coyote gun. He has had it on a while and it has held steady, even with the heavy #4 buckshot magnum loads. I researched several and am happy with this one. I would highly recommend it.
