These were purchased to replace wood decking on my 16' utility trailer. All 96 drove properly through a 0.228" hole through wood and steel with no issues. No stripped thread or heads.

Used six per 2x6 board on my 5x10 trailer to attach to each steel angle iron floor joist. Pre-drilled with a 7/32 bit. Job was much easier than I expected.

Arrived promptly and just the right length to screw my replacement deck board on my trailer. Went right in after drilling a 7/32†pilot hole.

I replace two trailer floors using these screws. I did have to drill a pilot hole before they would self tap. Only 1 of 50 snapped during the process. That's not too bad.Pleased with the purchase.
