I used these to mount monitors to the VESA bracket. VESA is the term for used for the industry standard mounting system that monitors use. Apparently the VESA standard uses 4mm diameter screws for monitor sizes less than 23" in diagonal. View the Wikipedia page for more VESA details.

These are amazing little thumb screws, they have fit every monitor i have which is a lot and make swapping monitors on mounts so much easier. If you are mounting desktop monitors on vesa stands or mounts get these. So much easier

These large screw heads make it 10 times easier to mount and un-mount, especially since you have to hold the monitor with one hand while putting these screws in with the other hand!
