Oh wow, waterproof cable things to put into waterproof enclosure things. Well done. OK, how excited can one get about such things? These work and they're inexpensice. What else could you want from such a thing? These are great things for doing what these things are supposed to do when used with other things.

I bought these to mount an LEDwholesalers 10W outdoor flood light outside of my house. The light comes with an attached cable (with bare ends) that needs to be wired into an electrical box. I wanted the cable gland to provide a clean seal for the wire, and the white matched the electrical cover nicely.The LED power cable is about 7mm in diameter, so I originally bought the Amico PG11, which lists a cable range of 5mm-10mm. Well, the Amico glands would appear to run large, as the PG11 size was too large to get a good seal on my 7mm power cable. Technically it was possible, but required the gland to be tightened down all the way, which made the rubber seal and flanges protrude out of the nut, and even then wasn't as tight as I wanted.I bought the PG9 size, which worked much better with a 7mm cable.I wouldn't recommend the PG11 size for anything less than a 9mm cable.

The PG11 size requires a 1" hole to be drilled. It is on the larger end of these connectors, which was perfect for me as I am building a solar power system. For larger wires they clamp down inside. smaller wires I squirted some silicone sealant in also. They provide a nice smooth entrance/exit that will not chafe the wires. So all in all, a great product. If you want to avoid using silicone, then size accordingly.

Le compte est bon, la qualité aussi.L'odeur de caoutchouc quand on ouvre le sachet contenant le produit est assez désagréable.J'ai du laisser le produit dehors une petite heure pour que l'odeur disparaisse.
