As I live in an apartment I'm unable to run a ground wire to my antenna. These chokes were the next best option and they worked very well.

Ferrites do help with interference, but you must know the frequency range of the noise low or high and match the ferrite ranger accordingly for them to help.

These ferrite collars are a great price for 5 of them, compared to more $ for less quantity. I installed 3 of them on LMR400 coax cable and the fit is perfect. Checked the radio before and after installing these ferrites and there was a decent improvement on both the SWR and radio power.The only reason I gave these 4/5 is that one of the cores was broken. A small piece of the ferrite core was broken off, I found it on my floor only after installing 3 of these collars. Didn't notice this when I installed the collars on the cable. so now I'll have to find the broken one and replace it with one of the other 2 I have.Overall, still a good buy and a good product.
