Really nice item for the money. Replaced a Jaw Coupler on an import drum sander (General International)I had to cut 3/16" off the shaft of the drive motor because the plastic bushing has a smaller ID than the 12mm of the aluminum part but it was no issue and I am back in business. Very happy this part was on amazon

I was hoping that the joint would allow for a little more misalignment,but the stiff plastic doesn't allo allow much play. Would buy again though.

The holes on these are not in alignment and after I installed it on the motor and spun it up; I packed them back up and sent them back. Maybe they would have worked for a bit, however they would have induced the problem they are supposed to account for and would likely have torn themselves up.

The "8mm" side of the coupling was 8.93mm in diameter and didn't even come close to tightening the 8.04mm stainless drive shaft I was trying to couple. Not sure how this happened.

The item broke after installation when the slow speed motor turned on. Really cheap aluminum, almost like cast. Extremely disappointed, and very slow shipping.

I used this to extend the shaft of a motor that I replaced for a bandsaw. 6 months on and it is holding out well. Use the bandsaw every fortnight or so.
