I bought these to ream out the undersized cylinders on a few black powder revolvers. They cut smoothly and the reamed hole was the size it was supposed to be. They are a few thou bigger than ideal but that is not a flaw..they are what they claim. If I wanted the exact size that would be ideal I would have had to buy a very expensive custom ream.

I bought these to facilitate boring out some 3/16" brass bushings to .250". They worked just fine. As has been mentioned by others the packaging for them was not ideal; they came in single sealed plastic bag, not ideal for a "precision" cutting tool, but they did work just fine for me regardless of that.

I used this reamer to do a counter bore on 4140 steel ,I used good cutting lube and took my time, the finished product came out well.

So, first off, of the two reamers in the package, only one was actually .375" in diameter, with the other being .373" instead.Second, the grind finish on the tooling was extraordinarily rough. Fortunately, I have the other tools necessary to hone cutting tools, but I really shouldn't have to clean up a brand new tool, and make sure the cutting edge actually has clearances. And then, as the final insult, the one that was actually the correct size broke a whole section out the very first time I used it. This was while reaming out a .365" hole in soft aluminum, using a material appropriate cutting fluid, so it's not like I was being particularly taxing on the thing. So, either it isn't actually H8 tool steel, or it was heat treated incorrectly, or it's just junk. I'd have bought a better one if I could have found one on Amazon, so I guess I'm just going to have to get one from an actual tooling dealer.I can only recommend NOT purchasing this item, or any similar item from this manufacturer. I presume the rest of the line they carry is of equal "quality". Disappointing, as I have had good luck with items from this manufacturer in the past, though admittedly those were not machine tooling. Lesson learned, I suppose.

They're decent, but definitely seeing stand up to much on hard metals. You will probably get 2 good uses and after that it'll take more work

The reamer was advertised as 1/4 reamer. It actually measures 0.240 “. Doesn’t team the correct size and therefore useless to me.
