Rigid Coupling
Rigid Couplings can offer a solid connection between two shafts with high precision and torque. It has no misalignment absorption capabilities. No movement is allowed between the two shafts and the machine system requires lubrication in many times.

I was going to use these to extend the shafts on a radio restoration I was doing, but found a better way. These are very sturdy and are actually overkill for my application. Very well made and solidy constructed.

I ordered a set of 5mm to 8mm adaptors, the description says 4 piece. What shipped was only one piece. Thinking it might be a mistake I returned what I was shipped and ordered a replacement. Only one piece shipped again. The adaptor is as advertised but you only get one, not 4.

This coupling fits on a 1/4" shaft without any play. A perfect tight fit. when the motor is on, there is no wobble or vibration in the attached tooling.
