Introduction
Rod end bearings are mainly used to support parts that require low concentricity, high working surface pressure, and slow swing and rotation movements. The advantage is that the ball insert permits the rod or bolt passing through it to be misaligned to a limited degree.
Structure & Material
Material: The #45 steel casing and hardened bearing steel ball swivel ensures long service life.
Finish: The spherical surface of the inner ring with chromium plating and the rod body surface with zinc-plated.
Application
Widely used in engineering hydraulic cylinders, forging machine tools, automation equipment, trucks, lawn tractors, boats, industrial machines, go-karts, and many more applications.

Quality joint. Made well, Tolerance is good. If your looking to made a tie rod for a project as I was. Make sure you order a 3/8 24 pitch coupler. As that is just not available locally. Resorted to welding multiple nuts together. But not the sellers fault. Great product.
