I bought this indicator light for a switch panel I designed that powers an electric fence charger on our chicken coop that energizes an electric parameter fence to keep predators out. I wanted a good red light that clearly indicates to people when the fence charger switch is "ON" to so that my kids and occasional chicken sitters would know that the fence is armed and disarmed.. Not only does it do that, but we can see the light glowing at night (about 175' away) letting us know the fence is on for the night or somebody forget to turn in on. Great product, Exact sized. Great and easy self contained and protected terminal connections too. Very please with this product.

I was wary that such a light rate for 110V and 220V would have a resistor value that would make it too dim on 110V. But it glowed fine on 110V.

I installed this into a electrical enclosure along with a few other products i purchased on amazon to make a kill switch for my shop. The light is simply to indicate whether the power is running to the sub panel or not. Install was straight forward, there are two terminals on the back of the housing that unscrew and the wires can be inserted directly. Simple, straight forward product, not sure what i will do with the extra one, but the price of two was less than the singles.

The lights are 'fine' for my little project... Someone else mentioned that the wire terminal mounting was a thin as paper...... Not only are they fragile, but they are not "locked in" to the housing.. If you put virtually any pressure on the screw to tighten the wire, the terminal will twist out and break. I was very cautious and got to a point I had to add a drop of hot glue to either side of each terminal to hold them in the plastic housing. Adding the hot glue is no big deal, but it's a drag that the (wire) mounting is SO WEAK.... The everyday, average consumer would probably break them and return to Amazon or just toss them..... This issue should be evaluated by the manufacture.... The over all mounting is very easy - simple - secure.The light brightness is a 2.5 - 3.0 out of 5... It's "OK" and not great.....(Keeping in mind that both lights are about $8 bucks US.. Ha-...... These are not precision lights made in Germany or Japan....... They are what they are for $8 bucks....... )

Used to show when circuits either on or off for power tools being controlled be double pole double throw 220 v toggle switch.Easy to wire.

The metal on this item is paper thin and falls apart when you attempt to connect a wire to it.Do not buy it - it is junk,

J'avais des voyants identiques mais en 220V ils n'ont pas durés car la tension du réseau EDF est plus prés de 230v/237vJ'ai donc fait un essais avec ces voyants donnés pour 380v et ils fonctionnent très bien avec le 230v et je risque pas de les griller
