It was stainless steel and it worked for what I needed. It was only about 11 - 15/16 inches long and not a full 12, but that wasn't an issue.

The one thing I needed this flat bar to be, it isn't. It's definitely warped in the middle, as you can see in the photo. Returning!

I needed 2 pieces of flat stock stainless steel, at least 1/8" thick x 1" wide x 5-1/2" long, to make a cross-style semi-universal pot rest for small camping stoves. 304 Stainless is what many seem to believe is best for use in fire pits and grill parts, so I hope it proves an adequate choice for this little project.

Yes it is stainless steel and yes the dimensions are pretty close but the piece I received was not flat and the surface was so rough that I gave up trying to clean up / polish the surfaces.I finally discarded it. I will NEVER purchase from this supplier again.

Need to extend the tabs on trailer gate. Only thing just slightly under the length advertised but width and thickness was correct.
