This is my second set of grabbers that I bought for myself. I use them like crazy. I'm handicap and these grabbers make my life 10x easier. I love the claws at end, they really grab and hold onto the item trying to pickup off the floor. Had plastic tip ones before and they just dont do a good job picking things up. Like all grabbers they don't last a lifetime. After a year or so of constant using they do need to be replaced. I use my almost everyday. I'm sure I'm picking things up that they were not designed to do. So I don't mind having to buy more sets here and there. I have not used these grabbers for things above my head. Like getting cups and such out of upper cabinets. I keep all my everyday stuff at accessible level. I do use it to grab clothes out of dryer. Picking up toys, Pulling bed sheets up. And all the thousand of items I seem to drop on daily basis. These are really good grabs and do last awhile. I will buy again and again every few years. I also just threw a pair in my van. I dropped something the other day and thought crap my grabbers are in the house. Now I literally have them all over the place.

Just what my husband needed to gather sticks before mowing. Great extra length saves your back from bending down to get things. Claws on the end increase the holding power.

I was nervous when I read the review about the metal being thin, but they are not that bad. I pulled 10lb dragon stones out of my aquarium with no problem. This was the only all metal option, so my choices were limited. I really like how simple the closing mechanism is, and can easily be repaired if they break. So far I'm really happy. Plus they are only 15 bucks a peice.

I bought 2 of them and they both did the same thing. The metal is paper thin and if you try to pick up something like a full pop (soda) can, it will just bend the tubing if the tubing was better quality, it would probably be one of the best I have used.
I will look a gift horse in the mouth.

Says stainless but the parts are not. Believe me the screws are not stainless steel and have rusted all over the crabber.

I like this grabber and it's a good material. Also good for grills or open fireplaces
