These 2nd cut 3mm dia. files (as opposed to diamond cut) are great for enlarging or elongating small holes like for a 4-40 machine screw. Files like these are harder to find. Will easily fit in an 1/8 hole.

I use these to contour and cut hardwoods - work perfect. Can't believe what a good deal they are. Cut wood far more aggressively than the 3mm diamond coated files I tried as well - recommend these over the diamond ones for wood.

I've had small files break but these are holding up nicely. They remove material very well.

Somwome else poated here about getting his 5 pieces from what was once a 10 peice set. Well here is the other half lol. These are cheap Chinese crap but I'm not doing precision work, just rough deburring, so they sgould work fine.

This was obviously cut down from a bigger package and not even cut well. 2 out of 4 of mine came with broken tips. Could have done way better.

...that works and is worth it. Not sure how long they'll last but you'll get a lot of light filing done before that occurs.

I needed these files to sharpen chain on a 6in chainsaw. Did the job well but probably not sufficiently good quality for regular use.
