Best washers if you want to replace missing tension assemblies on mini sewing machines! The toy, child, mini, or compact sewing machines have two tension discs same shape but pricey. I use these instead, convex side facing each other so the thread is gripped between. Add a beehive (conical/ tapered) spring, nut washer and done. You have a new tension assembly. This simplistic assembly works for toy machines only as regular machines have more refined parts. But it does fill a niche with hard to find parts.Also use these in DIY woodwork to sink into the wood for a nice look, or for jewelry making tribal designs.
