- Ball Diameter: 6mm
- Precision Grade: G1000
- Material: Soda Lime Glass
- 200 x Glass Balls
- There are two kinds of commonly used materials for making glass balls: Soda Lime Glass & Borosilicate Glass.
- Soda-lime glass is known as chemically inert. It is resistant to alkaline solutions. The balls made of soda-lime glass have good electric and corrosion-resistant properties but can not bear the thermal shock. The melting point is about 700C.
- Borosilicate glass is highly chemical and heat resistant. Borosilicate glass balls are dimension stable with a melting point of about 800C.
- Glass balls are especially useful for check valves, visual flow equipment, low-speed bearings, and many labs and experimental applications.

I really like these. I might order a size up next time. I'm using em in paint bottles because I won't have to worry about rusting.

I use this product in my mighty plus medic device in the cooling chamber. These tiny little bits of borosilicate glass help cool the vapour even more.
