I don't have equipment to measure their effectiveness for RFI/EMI Noise suppression, but they appear to be solid ferrite cores so they should be doing their job. Attaching this to the cable is easy. Overall, nice product.

I have a 16 inch SVS subwoofer that has an intermittent hum. It’s maddening. I was told it was a ground loop. It wasn’t. It was RFI from a dimmer switch.I installed this ferrite choke on the power cord where it plugs into the subwoofer. It fit snugly - did not move.I fired the subwoofer up and the hum was gone. I cycled the dimmers up and down multiple times and had the subwoofer on for hours. No more hum.This solution also affords me “abuse rights†over a buddy of mine who has a masters degree in electrical engineering who works for an military electronics contractor. He told me I had a ground loop. Nope. RFI hum that is now fixed. Fire up the abuse! Hope that helps!

If you have ground loop interference, you need something like a NVX LOC with interference canceling circuitry.

I started replacing some of the bulbs on my 2010 RDX to LEDs. Now every time I would press on the brake, I would get static interference from my radio when listening to music. Tried another brand but no luck. I tried these and it fixed my problem. I placed 2 near the bulb and no more interference.

Put a new outlet in my basement TV room with USB charging outlets. The adjacent room has a radio on a different circuit. The radio now gets a low level noise when nothing is plugged into the outlet, and much louder static when I plug in my Logitech remote for charging. Put 9mm chokes on both ends of the radio power cord and 7mm chokes on the charge cord. NOTHING. Like I didn't do anything.

Bought to help garage door opener keep its signal to the remotes. Seems to work great with only a few of our remotes but hey that’s better than before. Might try bigger size

LED garage lights are interfering with my radio reception (static) thought this product would help byinstalling them on the radio power cord and it made no difference what so ever. I tried on the light cord also and again no difference
