Ok product and cheap with quick shipping, but it heats up and is only magnetically attractive at a distance less than 1/8th inch. It is great for for a hold use, but not for a pull use.

Klein und gut verarbeitet, macht seinen Dienst, auch wenn die Haltekraft wirklich minimal ist. Nach einer Stecknadel ist schon Schluss, aber das ist auch nicht das Einsatzgebiet.Ich habe den Magnet mit einem eve Thread Fensterkontakt gekoppelt und an unsere normale Klingel angeschlossen. Der Klingeltrafo gibt zwar nur 8V raus, das reicht aber für den Magneten. Wenn jemand klingelt, bekommt der Magnet kurzzeitig Strom und aktiviert den Fensterkontakt (welcher sonst von einem am Fensterrahmen angeklebten Dauermagnet aktiviert wird), welcher über Homekit Automatisierung eine Aktion auslöst. Bei mir spielt er ein Türgong mp3 über meine Homepods im Haus ab, damit man nicht verpasst wenn jemand klingelt. Somit konnte ich die Lautstärke des normalen Türgong herunterregeln (die Katzen freut es) und man hört es auch, wenn man im Dachgeschoss ist und überall alle Türen geschlossen sind.
