Need a 15 pin not a 50 pin but when I tried to return the product I have to pay more than the cost of the product itself I could literally mail this thing across the country for free why in the hell does it cost me so much to return the item due to being the wrong part

This isn't a product that generally needs to be reviewed.However, if you're buying this for the 8.8inch 480X1920 small monitor used in cars and status screens, this is the same ribbon but *too* many pins, it's too wide. However, I used a pair of side cutters to cut it down to pin and size, and it works. Make sure you homework the pin count and don't just buy the part as listed on the ribbon cable. If you do, you can cut the unneeded pins off the ends (VERY CAREFULLY) and make it work.It's an exact replacement for the type of ribbon cable you need, but it's fragile, which is to be expected.

Ordered these for a sound bar subwoofer that had gotten damaged. They were much too wide for my application, but was able to carefully trim it down and make it work.
