Size and Shape. Rounded tube with 4mm outside diameter, 3mm inner diameter, 400mm overall length.
Pultrusion. Pultruded tube means that all the fibers are in one direction, which makes it stronger than the woven tube in tension.
Lightweight. 1.5g/cm3(1.5 Gram per cubic centimetre) in density, strong as metal but only one fifth in weight. Corrosion-resistant and heat-resisting.
Smooth surface. Made from high tensile and modulus unidirectional carbon fiber, with polishing finish.
Application. Pultruded carbon fiber tube is used for racing drones, RC helicopter wing, RC airplanes and RC sailboats, kite spars.

I got these 4x3x400 mm tubes for use in a small RC glider wing spar. I’m planning a wingspan of about only 500 mm or so and was going for minimum weight. Thus, I ordered tubes rather than rods for this application.I’ve not installed them yet but I can already tell they’re going to work great. These are very strong (subjective but based on my experience with other materials), and each 400 mm tube weighed 3.5 grams. I wish that they had mentioned that weight in the product description rather than making me guess. Or try to calculate it from the general density of the material which is buried further down the page (1.5g/cm3). No matter, I can tell you that they are 3.5 grams for each 400 mm tube.Dimensionally, the tubes are not perfectly round. One sample tube measured from 3.96 – 4.04 mm in diameter as I rotated it within the jaws of my caliper. The inner diameter was about 2.9 to 2.92 mm and noticeably off center such that the wall thickness varied from 0.5 to 0.62 mm thick. It’s not surprising that there would be some variation of these dimensions, and whether this is a problem depends on your application. I’m sure I can get a snug fit with these tubes in the wing of my glider by simply drilling out the hole slightly or sanding the tubes. The tubes were 400 mm long, as advertised.Overall, very nice and I would purchase again.
