I purchased this meter so I could watch the needle deflect and observe how the voltage changes. It is accurate but slow to respond. Instead of seeing the deflection the needle pauses at one reading and then goes to the next. It will still work for my purposes, just not quite what I expect.

I use this across a decoder output motor leads to give a scale MPH reading. I also use 4 diodes so that the meter reads in forward and reverse. This is a good rugged 15v meter for the price.

The meter works and the accuracy is as stated. The 2 screws that hold the bezel were missing.

It works as advertised, took forever to get here. In the time this took to get to my house, I ordered a digital meter (because I lost patience), wired it up on my application, shorted that one out, ordered a replacement and had it installed in my panel. And it was still two weeks later that this arrived.
