M6 thread. I wish they made the same product in 1/4-20 as that is what I wanted for my woodworking tools. I made this work instead. I use the m6 thread but there is also enough material to tap it to 1/4-20 if needed

I'm using these to mount bearings to MakerBeam XL aluminum extrusion. It's incredibly convenient to be able to move things around and secure them firmly again, without a tool.
