I used this drill and tap set to create four threaded holes in a copper plate for a custom computer CPU heatsink. The heatsink is mounted with 4x M3 x 0.5 screws. The drill bit and tap both worked well. The threads cut cleanly without any binding, and the tool held up well for four uses (as expected). I used a drill guide to ensure the tool was properly aligned before cutting, and CRC Cutting Oil lubricant, and everything worked great.ff

What can I say? It arrived the next day (just like Amazon stuff is supposed to)... It arrived in perfect condition. I used it the same day. The drill bit made 8 holes in brass easily and the tap created the threads in each hole. They all worked. I'm a happy customer.

I needed tap for stainless steel. I have learned that fluted taps are better for tapping in general and cobalt bits are better for stainless steel. Very useful to have since metric taps are very hard to purchase where I live.
