These were purchased to be reduced in diameter and cut to length for a spacer in my conversion of a generator from gasoline to natural/lp gas. The 6 millimeter threads were cut properly and I had no trouble using them once they were modified.

I used them in a shadow box frame for picture stand-offs. Worked like a charm. I did have to add some stickers to one end to cover the hole.
