This ring is pretty heavy duty and feels solid. I bought it hoping to adapt the moondog labs anamorphic lens to a Sony lens for use on the a6300 but it doesn't work for that. It will be perfect to adapt 37mm filters though so if you happen to have some and need an adapter, this is a good fit

This worked like it should.It allowed me to fit a legacy lens onto a camcorder that has no lens threads.I used the combination to shoot camcorder macro.

The step down adapter ring is made of anodized aluminum, is black in color, and has been tested to fit the 52mm and 37mm thread sizes of a camera without a problem. The size 52mm-37mm is stenciled on the ring as illustrated for easy identification. The adapter ring does what it is supposed to do. Can serve as an extender ring where required, due to the thickness of the ring of about 5mm.
