NBR O-Ring

Circular Cross-Section
- They are circular, round in cross-section.
- Designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
- Commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings
- Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
- Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

I have three Iwata Eclipse airbrushes that needed new O-rings, two each. I about fell out of my chair when I saw listings for a single tiny flipping Iwata branded rubber O-ring... five bucks. EACH. That's $30 to replace the rings in my airbrushes. Screw that noise. Then I came across this listing. 50 identical rubber O-rings... for the same price as a single one from other sellers. Not only do they fit perfectly, they're literally identical in size, hardness, etc. How these other sellers can sleep at night is beyond me. I imagine these would fit most Badger and other branded airbrushes as well.Just goes to show you, OEM parts aren't always the way to go. Iwata sellers, if you're reading this... do better.

Since MFR does not include enough spares with purchase AND since there is a metal moving part over this o-ring and since vape stores don't carry it, this was a pleasant end to a hunt for a suitable o-ring to fit this application.

These state they have a shore / hardness of 50a which is softer than the normal 70a o-rings and they solve the problem of the inner top cap on a Skyline RTA which won't turn with 70a.

I bought these as replacement for the Hoselock system seals and find them essective but a tad bigger OR the rubber is not soft enough for an easy fit they work but is a tight fit.
