Really glad I found this chain on Amazon. Great price compared to other manufacturers I bought from in the past.I purchased the 18x50mm chain, one side has swing-open tabs that are very easily opened with a flathead screw driver. Note that these need to be opened from the correct side of the chain, one side clips in around a post (to create a hinge) and its easy to break if you try to open the connector on this side. The other side is just a clip (no hinge) and opens easily and the bar swings open without a problem.I am using this chain on the Y axist of a 4' x 8' CNC router. I have approximately a 4ft unsupported run of this large chain. It did deflect from horizontal quite significantly, as others have mentioned in their reviews. I added a placed an L bracket on the traveling gantry (see photo) to support the underside of the chain. This completely removed the horizontal deflection.

Nice chain, and it attached easily. Strong plastic. Only negative is it's slightly warps (doesn't lay flat on the floor), but it totally does the job for me and was affordable, so i'm happy! Very easy to remove links, and you can remove the guards so that you can lay your wires in without having to feed them through...When attaching this chain, note that the guards are directional - meaning that one side hinges and one side snaps, so you want the hinge side against your machine probably... (I failed to notice until my chain was installed, not a huge deal but if you're OCD, you can feel good paying attention to this :) )

I needed a very specific size grab chain for my project and this fit the bill. The problem is, it is terrible at its job. The chain does not lay flat when fully open putting constant stress on the anchor side and each link. Further, the male anchor is so misshapen that it barely stays in the link opening. That spacing combined with the stress that the curvature of a fully opened chain place on the link, it won’t stay connected to the anchor side. This thing is just garbage. Don’t waste your money here.

Das einzige Manko, aus meiner sicht ist, dass sich die Kette in gestrecktem Zustand nicht ganz flach hinlegt. Hoffe aber dass sich das in Gebrauch aber nach einiger Zeit gibt. Die Verschlüsse machen aber einen soliden Eindruck und haten gut.

Für den Preis OK, aber die Kanten der Kette sind nicht grade kabelschonend. Würde sie mit einer Feile verrunden.
