Those with a convertible know the pain of tightening the bottom retaining cable, a normal socket wrench in that tight spot at worst maybe will travel 1/6 turn, the threaded pins on the cable ends are way too deep for a socket, so this is THE best answer - make sure you check the size needed before ordering; the original cable that 10mm threads the replacement had 11mm so I had to get this for the slightly larger bolts.. The angle on the ratchet in this model is very helpful.

The off set angle seem to be too much. It just don’t feel comfortable with it. It doesn’t cost too much. Just hold on to have an extra tool in the house.
