Silicone Rubber O-Ring

  • Noted for their ability to be used over a wide temperature range and for excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging.
  • Standard silicones are resistant to water (to 100°C), aliphatic engine and transmission oils and animal and plant oils, and fats.

I bought uxcell's nitrile o-rings initially, after watching a Youtube video on changing the broken o-ring in a Zulu flip cap. Like the others, I discovered the black nitrile o-rings would snap and need replacing, after about a week. I decided to try these, to see if there's a difference. Yes! The silicone o-ring has not broken in the Zulu, as of the 2-week mark.

I purchased these to replace a missing o-ring on my Dunkin Donuts travel mug lid. These worked perfectly and fit perfect as well. They are exactly as described.

I bought these silicone o rings to keep my eyeglass strap from sliding off the arms. They were very difficult to get on but now that I did, they fit snuggly and stay in place. Probably should have bought a size larger, but these work just fine to prevent the strap from slipping off.

I had to have these O-Rings for my backpack bladder after the hose O-Ring broke. You can't just buy an O-Ring at the hardware store for a water supply. The pkg quantity was more than I needed, but I've shared this with friends
