I ordered this sheave to use with a new variable speed motor I’ve added to my micro lathe, and it does the job it’s designed for admirably. It fit my 5/8-inch spindle snugly, but not so tightly that much force was needed to get it into place. The two grub screws ensure it will stay put, even though my spindle doesn’t use a keyway.The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a tiny burr at the base of one of the holes for the grub screws that had to be sanded down before I could install this sheave on the spindle. Only a minute’s work, but I would have liked to have seen it addressed during manufacture.Overall, this is a good product if you’re looking for a new sheave. Just be sure to check for burrs before installing.

Very nice quality, very smooth finish that should not cause friction wear on link belt, 2 set screws to provide extra holding force on the shaft

It fit on the shaft nicely and has two set screws, which I like. Not much more to say. It works as expected and quality is pretty good. Certainly feels more substantial than the aluminum pulley it replaced.
