This is perfect for my needs. I was a little nervous because I've had trouble findind an adequate phone holder for my car. My phone is too heavy for the vent clip kind of holder and it turns out that there aren't any smooth surfaces in my car for this type with the suction cup, but then I found the adhesive smooth surface included in the box. So I just stuck that to the textured vinyl of my dash, then suction cupped the holder to that and it works great! the magnets and suction are very strong and I finally have a phone holder option for my car.

I was very disappointed with the magnetic phone holder I purchased. The magnet was not strong enough to securely hold my phone in place, causing it to slip and fall off while driving. The adhesive also did not stick well to my car dashboard, resulting in the holder constantly shifting around. Overall, I found this product to be unreliable and a waste of money.

Overall, it seems well made. The materials are good. The build quality seems good. The magnet holds firmly to most magsafe cases and firmly to the included adhesive rings to convert regular cases. I initially gave this only to stars when it wouldn't hold up the weight of my phone without droop down. However, when I was putting it back in the box to return, I found a small wrench is meant for you to tighten the joints for increased tension. It's not the greatest design frankly for a found mount that's meant to be folded back down when not in use. The increased tension does solve the problem. However, it makes it hard to fold and folding it ends up loosening the tension. But it does work. The suction cup is not really that great. Regardless of how smooth of a surface you are trying to stick it on to, it doesn't really grip that well. The only thing it finally (after several tries) that it stuck well to was the included adhesive disc. It kind of defeats the purpose for me as I didn't want to have to stick anything to my car and had a glossy flat surface to mount on. If it did stick, it didn't last long if the mount arm was holding the phone at any distance away from the center point of the suction cup. Using the disk though provides a solid mount. Otherwise, a well made mount.
