This is a nice concept and is certainly something that would benefit someone with a television mounted on their covered deck. There are a lot of variations on it to try and make it more of a universal fit but in my case it was a fairly rigorous effort. I tried fitting it a couple of ways but none of them seem to really improve the fit. The television I was attempting to place it on was a 40 inch and may have had a slightly thicker basil than others although it did not appear to be particularly thick. I think this will work fine but the mounting that is used on the back of these TVs has quite a bit of variance. The idea and quality seemed just fine but it was difficult to fit over him my outdoor television with the type of mount that it had. I suspect others may not have this problem depending on if, as in my case, the TV is mounted quite close to the wall which makes working behind it and not disturbing the mount fairly difficult
