I purchased this valance for my [mostly] white and gray (and navy) kitchen. I wanted to be able to hang the valance on a tension rod so that my new, white trim is exposed. I really like the quality and color. I have added a second picture to try to display the beautiful color. The valance is very well made. The curtain really "grounds" my kitchen. (I have provided a before pic.) I highly recommend this manufacturer and curtain style!

These are perfect for a bathroom window. My window is over my bathtub, so water resistance was important.

I just needed a light filtering polyester shade for my shower enclosure window which was getting brutal afternoon sun and cooking the bathroom. It's very darkening/filtering. At least 60%. I found this to be the described dimensions, sewed evenly, and when ironed, maintained the flat shape I wanted. I cut it to fit the width, and used a lighter to seal the seam. I bought a second one for my other shower, and used iron fuse tape to create a nicer seam, along with a bit of sewing to tighten up the edges. Geez...for $11, I expected less, and I'm pretty hard to please.
