Solidly built and comparable to other rods I have installed. I really like the solid feel of the base and smooth finish. I've had some that have multiple indents to strengthen the shape. This one doesn't need it and has a nicer appearance. Rod moves in and out OK yet a little tight at first. Nothing major and I expect it to loosen in time. Two different screw types are included. Typical wood screws and an optional set of blunt screws that go into the pre-drilled holes many closet systems have.My only complaint is that the ball end needs to be exposed when installing vs being able to place flush or even a little back from the forward edge. I like to hide mine but this one you'll see the ball end even when retracted. Not major, but would be nice to have the option.

For the price, you're not going to do much better than this. The rod looks good (assuming your other hardware is matte black). It's well made, and ought to last for years.

This valet closet rod is awesome and super useful. High quality design and materials. Made from a quality aluminum material. Strong and durable. Super easy to install or hang on wall or closet. Helpful for organizing clothing and other items each day. Works well for children when placed lower. Super versatile and convenient. Can be hung in numerous ways. I’ve got four other valet rods, and this one is about middle of the pack. It does the job and I like that the tip/end is large enough to help keep items from falling off. The end basically gives clothing something to hang on or grip. Some ballet rods are not good in this area, so that’s a plus to this Supforce brand. Also the price is very competitive. But that’s about it for positive highlights. The bar doesn’t slide out smoothly. It kind of sticks and requires you to pull it out in an intentional manner. Also the screws don’t match the color of the black rod we ordered. The screws are silver, which stands out a lot. Finally, the clearance between the rod housing and the screw holes is very tight. This increases the risk of accidentally scraping off the finish if your screw isn’t straight or centered enough. None of the observations are deal breakers, but it keeps this item from being special.

Love this item! Pole was very easy to install and is nice and thick and durable. I initially wanted it to help pick out outfits or to steam clothes, but it gets used for so much more. I will be buying another one to go on my husbands side of the closet.

The extension rod on this hanger is not at all long, but if you're, say, a two-person household with a relatively small laundry room, this is an ideal little fixture. It's well-made with a finish that appears to be strong enough not to chip away easily, at least so far. It slides in and out easily when mounted, and all the screws for doing that are included. I think this is a great little addition to our laundry room, but could equally have used it in the closet.

This rod is short and sturdy. Works great for my closet to see an outfit as a whole. If you get two rods, you can see your top and bottom together to help you figure out your fit. The slide has not issues and is easy to install. Comes with all hardware needed to install. No issues thus far. Highly recommend.

This clothes hanging rod is very convenient. It is easy to install and is very sturdy. It comes with the necessary hardware for hanging. Once installed, it is great for hanging up some items while sorting things in and out of the closet. Helps to keep my hands and arms clear during the process. I would definitely recommend this.
