ITEM: VALICLUD Swimming HeadbandCOMMENTS: I used this for multiple purposes - swimming and trying to hold in earbuds while sleeping. My review will include the details of both.PROS:- It does add protection from water and does secure earbuds in.- It gives some added benefits of hair control.NEUTRALS:- The adjustment is limited, and I found that it stretched over time, leading to it feeling less secure.- It is breathable, which also means it doesn’t fully block water.- If using to secure earbuds, it does gap and allow for them to fall out (takes some work, but still) - the ear piece just doesn’t seem large enough/conform enough.CONS:- I found that it slips up/down more easily than I hoped, and stretched out over time if tightened enough to avoid this.- I had trouble positioning it comfortably on my head and having it cover my ears at the same time. Landed in the center of my forehead.- It doesn’t have the best conformity. While it is flexible, it doesn’t mold as well as I expected over my ears.WOULD I PURCHASE? (Any prices noted are as of the time of writing): No, it just didn’t suit my needs. It’s not a bad product, but wasn’t right for me. It was just too narrow, doesn’t conform as well as I want, and just sits oddly. It still does what it’s suppose to though. At a list price of $13.97 it’s priced average for the product type, with both cheaper and more expensive options out there.My rating system is: 5 = no/minimal complaints, very pleased 4 = minor complaints, overall satisfied, but could be better 3 = notable complaints, overall average to ‘meh’ 2 = significant complaints, unhappy and will not keep/use 1 = entirely complaints, misleading descriptions, straight to the trash product.
