I bought these for myself so I could practice with my husband. They are light weight, very comfortable and the padding is thick enough to protect your hands getting that shock while being hit at with force. Great for training and look really good on. Great value for money in my opinion.

these are pretty decent quality and absorb a good bit of the punch but i would say when you start to get more professional i would upgrade but these should last you a long time.
