We were looking for some inexpensive way to cap and keep clean our several RV fresh water hoses when not in use. These work great. The loop end allows the cap to be secured around the hose so the cap does not become lost when the hose is in use. The cap itself has ventilation holes so air can pass into the hose when the hose is being stored. Since these caps remain on the hose (open to the elements)when the hoses are in use we alway wash them off carefully before emptying, capping and storing our hoses. It is sometimes a little tricky to twist the cap on to the hose threads with the loop attached to the hose. You have to turn the loop on the hose to get the cap to tighten, but once you figure out the technique, it is simple.

Use these for garden hoses and RV hose. These really help prevent lizards, spiders and insects from crawling into the hose when not being utilized.

Liked this so well I ordered a couple more. I use these caps to seal off the ends of my drinking water hoses. Nice feature (I didn't know about) is that the hose will still drain with these caps on. There appears to be a release feature to allow any remaining water to drain from the hose - even with the caps on. This addresses my concern about trapped water in the hose eventually turning nasty. Nice product that is worth the cost.

Item was too small in diameter to fit the water source plug I needed on my RV. Perfect item just needed a larger size to fit correctly

Good product. Silicone type loops to hold the cap to the hose when not attached. Keeps dirt and dust out of the hose when not in use.
