You need to make sure you are not interchanging products. The connections are not the same. My Rhino hose would not make a secure connection. It could have been very stinky.

Hi. I simply don't like Orange, Yellow, & bright color, accents around my RV. I don't want to draw attention to my poop transfer system :). This was the least offensive, heavy duty, product I could find. It collapses, clicks togther, similar to the Rhinoflex. Both ends swivel. Only one end of Rhinoflex swivels. It's advertised as heavy duty, time will tell. And, most important, its not bright color.

Seems well made. I have used it only once and it worked well. It doesn’t seem to keep its shape well when it is collapsed.

The silverback sewer hose is the most durable and easy to use sewer hose. Easily snaps together for shorter length if needed and very flexible.

The expandible tubing too easily "unscrews" from its "threaded" end fittings, presumably owing to poor adhesion between the hose and fittings and/or inadequate "threaded" engagement. When first trying this new 5' extension sewer hose, it was properly connected between a RV gray tank outlet and a macerator. ALWAYS FIRST TEST tank connections & hoses using GRAY water! In this case, the connectors were properly mated and locked, but the hose swelled at the connector's "thread" and began to leak as it unscrewed itself from the connector. At least it was only soapy wash water, not galley water. Because 5' hoses are difficult to find, unable to remove the failed "adhesive", roughened connector "threads" with an abrasive pad, washed the connector and hose end mating surfaces with alcohol, liberally applied 3M Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive to mating surfaces and screwed the hose onto the connector. Then clamped the hose to the connector with a pair of Jubilee clips. Now waiting 48hr for the 3M adhesive to cure before testing with a gray water tank drain.

I was very disappointed in this item in regards to durability. In the past I've use much less expensive hoses and they lasted as long, or longer than this hose. The hose tore at the end coupling.
