About us
In 1971 Bert Grengs started Grentec a plastic injection molding company in Burbank, CA. They began manufacturing RV gate valves, RV toilets, plumbing fittings and later some of Southern California’s iconic plastic skateboards like the “banana board”.
In 1981 Bert retired and Valterra Products began with his son, George Grengs, daughter-in-law, Patricia Grengs, daughter, Barbara Glennon, and son-in-law, Dennis Lunder owning the new company.
Eventually Valterra moved away from the skateboard business and focused on the expansion of their RV business with the acquisition of many important product lines including sewer hoses, RV locks, Fridgemate Fans, and ABS tanks.

My RV tank discharge is the low point on the RV so it hits an object first - and breaks the cap off. This is my third replacement, and it goes on easily. It'll look great until I hit my next pothole. That's why buying two is a great idea.

The part is fine but the loop that holds it on it very tight. Had to use a screw driver to wedge it over the knob.

These Vallterra caps fit perfectly and quite tight, they are priced reasonably and I always have extra sets on hand in the event the current caps crack or fall off.

These work terrific. They actually take two hands to twist on, they're really tight! That'll surely loosen up a little in time.
